Before placing, purify the space with dhoop, incense, or camphor. Hold the idol or tool with devotion, and mentally offer prayers. Chant sacred mantras such as “Om Namah Shivaya” or “Om Shreem Hreem Kleem” (based on the deity or intention). Set your intention and gently place the item facing the appropriate direction: East for Sphatik, North for wealth tools, or as per Vastu. Offer water, flowers, or a diya as a mark of respect.
